Getting Better with time – Challenge

Getting Better with time – Challenge

Let’s play a game of manifestation! Picture this you are coming out your bathroom. When you are done dressing up. Picture this being your dream body. Everything being the right size. Imagine then going out to a nice event. Picture people who know you coming up to you complimenting how you look and how much weight you loss. How healthy you are. Now open your eyes. Know that if you can see it in your mind… you can do it in this present moment.

For the next couple of months I want you to join a journey with me. Remember there is no such thing as being “better” than someone at anything. The difference between two people is the time and mindset. If you are open to learning and doing something and repeat the action you will get better at it. The goal of exercising is building muscle. Everyone is different. This blog post is a guide to those who aren’t ready for the gym but do want to complete their goals.

Baby steps. I watched a nice guy on YouTube whom also had a weight loss journey himself. He shared four exercises that was guaranteed to burn fat if done 4-5 times a week. The interesting part of this that I never explored is the alternative exercises. I only had one good trainer who really pushed alternative exercises. The goal is to build your body to get used to the alternatives then upgrade to the next alternative … once you master all of them you continue but challenge yourself to do other exercises.

1. Push Up

2. Plank

3. Squats

4. Raw
Above is a PDF editable chart that can help you with this challenge. Good luck on your journey. I would love to hear feedback below in the comments.

10 Dates With Yourself

10 Dates With Yourself

Self love is the best way to get to know yourself.

Loosing weight is not a destination it is a journey. To truly loose weight and choose a healthy life style. You must be realstic and true with yourself. One thing I had to do for myself is sit down and ask myself why did I over eat. I learned in the long run it wasn’t just one reason but mutiple reasons. I had started as a child using food to solve the emotions and problems I didn’t know how to deal with.  So as an adult I tackle each problem little by little. One major reason why I ate. Self Love. I hid behind food because I was afraid of what people thought about me. I felt like I needed to have a room of friends or I would be left alone. The fear of being alone haunted me and at some point I made terrible discisons based off of it.

2017 was the year that forced me out of my shell. I was broken down from it and in result got a real authentic perspective of how I treated myself and others. Being healthy isn’t just about how you eat and how much you work out but how you take care of yourself.  I created a challenge for myself. Since I had this fear of being alone. I challenged myself to go on ten dates with myself. Oh it was scary just the thought of it. I had to mentally prepare for it as well as physically I instantly looked up places that I wanted to check out creating a note for each in my note pad. I hope this can help you creating your list. I learned everyone need me days where they aren’t obligated to be stuck with other peoples preferences.
